The Shawnee Community College Saints Women's Basketball team signs Johnna Hines to a National Letter of Intent for the 2015-2016 team.

SCC's Spring Band Concert - May 5th, 7:00pm
Shawnee Community College's Concert Band will be performing a Spring Band Concert on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 7:00pm. The concert will take place in the Educational Center. Admission is free and the public is invited.

Takena TaylorLady Saints Basketball Team Signs Takena Taylor
The Shawnee Community College Saints Women's Basketball team signs Takena Taylor to a National Letter of Intent for the 2015-2016 team. Takena attended Cairo High School in Cairo, IL. She is the daughter of DeAngella Taylor.

Honorís Night Set at SCC - May 1st, 6:00pm
Honorís Night will take place in the Educational Center at the Main Campus near Ullin. Approximately 230 awards will be given out at Honorís Night this year.

The Shawnee Community College Saints Basketball team signs Jaret Gassett to the 2015-2016 team. Jaret is an Overton High School Senior from Memphis, Tennessee. He is the son of Donald Gassett and Susie Winfield.

SCC's Nursing Program Reaches Big Accomplishment
Shawnee Community College's Nursing program reached two more great accomplishments in 2014. The LPN program achieved a pass rate of 97% for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) in 2014 compared to the IL pass rate of 86% and the National pass rate of 82%.
Saints ReadSaints Read Celebration 2015
On Saturday, February 28th, the 8th Annual Saints Read Celebration event was held at Shawnee Community College. 144 children from 14 area schools complete the program, which asks students to log books and meet reading goals appropriate for their grade. SCCís Future Teacher Organization and SCC Athletics sponsor the program. The group read a total of 3,016 books.

He is in his second year of the SI Bridges program wanting to pursue his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

Brandon graduated from Vienna High School in 2010. He then furthered his education at Shawnee Community College earning his Associates of Science degree in 2012. Tanner then finished his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree at Southern Illinois University of Carbondale in 2014. Brandon currently works as an Aviation Engineer Intern (E.I.T) for Hanson Professional Services, Inc.
